What Worship Includes

We live in a busy region and we all have busy lives, but we view worship as our high calling for the week — a time to pull away from the busyness of everyday life and to be still before God.

It is a great privilege to meet together each Sunday morning to glorify the triune God through worship and the weekly observance of the Lord’s Supper. It is an outpouring of joy and thanksgiving for the mercy and grace shown to us by Christ.

Worship at SRPC includes:

• Singing praise to God through praise songs, hymns, and Psalms
• Prayer
• Scripture reading
• Confession of sin and confession of faith
• Preaching of God’s Word
• Giving of offerings
• Weekly observance of the Lord’s Supper
• Baptisms
• Occasional special musical anthems from the choir or other ensembles

A nursery is provided during worship for children three and under, but children of every age are welcome in the service. A cry room with audio and a view of the sanctuary is also available.
